The location of this plot presented a challenge as it is built on an extreme inclination and below scree rock. Not only were geological studies required before building permission, but a well had to be bored for water. Water filtration systems, water pumps and water storage tanks had to be taken into account as well as construction of a cesspit as no water or sewage supplies were available. Only electricity.
