KRITSA: "Lil Hoosa" is a Scottish phrase for "Little House". Here the work was for a refurbishment of an already renovated small village house. The house was habitable but sympathetic re-design was needed to create a more interesting, cheerful and practical home. The concrete roof terrace was coated with coloured polyeutherane, a bench built and the wall blocking the great view re-designed. The roof terrace now becomes an integral part of the house. A new hand made kitchen was built and the bathroom re-designed and new more modern sanitary ware installed. Fitted cupboards were built around the bed as the bedroom is too small to accommodate wardrobes. The house was re-painted white and the doors and window frames blue, to give an attractive contrast.
